A photograph by Andrew Henkelman of Naomi Osaka preparing to serve during a match, wearing her iconic 2018 blue visor, a sports dress with blue, yellow, and black accents, and wristbands, on a the main court of the with spectators in the background.

Naomi Osaka is one of the world's greatest tennis players, having won numerous tournaments and awards and reaching the rank of World No. 1. Her openness about her struggles with mental health and the pressure of expectations in 2018 and during the lockdowns inspired many athletes and others to share their own stories. My work for the U.S. Open Tennis Championships in NYC started in 2015 as a Video Engineer and expanded to both live broadcast and photography. Working with the Japanese broadcaster Wowow, as well as EuroSport and ESPN, to cover the U.S. Open was a blast and a dream come true for a tennis fan.

When the first auto race within NYC city-limits happened for the first time in over 400 years, I was working directly with Audi and Formula E to capture moments like this one. Shooting these high-speed electric machines screaming through Brooklyn was an unforgettable and historic experience.

Blue Bloods & Wahlburgers Family Dinner Recipe Series (also called Blue Bloods Family Dinner Experience) is a multi-platform cross-branded cooking series shot to promote Blue Bloods’ final season. Hosted by Chef Paul Wahlberg Donnie Wahlberg’s brother and co-founder of Wahlburgers. Most of my food-related video work is motion, so the chance to take photos was a no-brainer. Especially since I love shooting options while thinking about all the platforms and formats it might be used on.

Released on Facebook Video, YouTube (Boston Blue / Blue Bloods channel playlist), Wahlburgers.com, and Instagram.

An artist is rarely skilled at every single medium. When musician Arejeigh needed album art and studio headshots, he reached out and we worked together on album covers and an artist asset kit. Handling marketing and PR during a national tour and album drop can be overwhelming. Media training helped give him the skills and confidence to continue delivering his best performance.
